Not only are millennials spending more on branded products, they are also willing to spend more on personalized experiences including special VIP treatments and customizations. Service, comfort and tailored experiences as well as the power of social media are redefining fashion trends with the millennial crowd.\r\n\r\nCome hear from Denise Lo, Regional Vice-President for Christian Dior Couture Asia-Pacific, who sits at the helm of this ever-evolving world of luxury fashion on how millennials are reinventing its meaning. Denise will illuminate how young and increasingly well-informed consumers are eager to embrace innovative trends, as seen in the convergence of high fashion and streetwear. She will also explore how high-quality craftsmanship and exclusivity are forces that are being combined anew with social media. Through a range of studies and personal anecdotes, she will unpack the shift from traditional brand-created marketing content to user-created content driven by social media platforms that are becoming more effective in driving purchasing decisions. Luxury fashion in the future will need to revolutionize its engagement with luxury millennials with a more holistic and omni-channel approach to distribution and more inspirational experiences that redesign the customer journey.
