Together with EAGAA, Asia Society Hong Kong Center brings you the next culinary demonstration on how to prepare slow cooked chicken breast with mushroom chicken sauce. If you have wondered what is “slow cooked” and how it benefits you, or even just curious how to do slow cooked at home? Join us to find out more!\r\n\r\nBenefits of Slow Cooked\r\nUsing a lower temperature to cook your food slowly helps the nutrients in the food to remain more stable than other methods of cooking. Cooking over longer period of time also increased flavor and reduces the need for added seasoning.\r\n\r\nCulinary demonstrator – Joe Wong\r\nJoe has vast culinary experience from being the head chef for various F&B groups and hotels. He also spent a good number of years learning from Chef Donovan Cooke at the Derby Restaurant and Bar at the Hong Kong Jockey Club.\r\n\r\nWith his passion for food and teaching, Joe is now teaching at Hong Kong New Oriental Culinary Art, where he simplified complicated cooking steps to make it easy for participants to understand and follow. He is looking forward to share his passion with members of Asia Society Hong Kong Center.\r\n\r\nAbout Hong Kong New Oriental Culinary Art\r\nEstablished in 1988, with more than 20 years of experience to cultivate hundreds of cooking talent, New East Cuisine Education started the Hong Kong New Oriental Culinary Art in 2016. Over the last three years, they had started various cooking courses ranging from western food to Chinese cuisine, from baking to even latte art, etc. The courses are suitable for all ages and with classes designed especially for children as well.\r\n\r\nAbout EAGAA\r\nThe Edible Artists Global Academy Association (EAGAA) is a platform supporting all forms of edible arts and to support individuals who are active in the industry as professionals, apprentices or hobbyists.
