During this tasting you will not only learn about the world of cognac and how it’s made, the history of the oldest of the great cognac houses and lastly, you will discover the core cognac range of the Maison with a tasting of VSOP, Noblige, the emblematic Cordon Bleu and the powerful XO. ‘Books are cheaper than traveling, but they’re also more dangerous’\r\n— American Dirt (Oprah\'s Book Club): A Novel by Jeanine Cummins\r\n\r\n\r\nThis autumn in Hong Kong, we are giving you the chance to “travel” through books safely. Due to the recent global situation, many of us are unable to get out of the city this year. And we believe books will be the best alternative for you to lose yourself into this wonderland of imaginations, fantasies, make-believes, etc.\r\n\r\nWith over thousands of titles, ranging from design, arts, architectural, photography books to novels, children pictorials and travel guides, there is always something for everyone. A mixed of pre-loved and new books and DVDs at a starting price of HK$10 each, these books will help Asia Society Hong Kong Center to raise fund to continue to pursue our mission. \r\n\r\n• Pre-loved books:\r\no Art and design books from a library of an educational institute\r\no Members’ private collection of books and DVDs\r\no Contributions from local book clubs\r\n\r\n• Brand new books:\r\no Art catalogues from galleries and art shows\r\no Baking cookbooks from an established studio\r\no Books from local publishers\r\no Collection from Asia Society Hong Kong Center\r\no Travel guides\r\n\r\nPlease come down with your family and friends to look through the collection and bring your favorite copies home. \r\n\r\nFor the safety of the participants and to meet the recommended restrictions, we are limiting the number of tickets and entries per day. Macbeth is a tragedy by William Shakespeare (1564-1616), sets primarily in Scotland, the play follows the character of Macbeth, a Scottish general who becomes power hungry and demented with political ambition. \r\nThe journey of every character in the story portrays human nature at its weakest, but also at its finest. It is a must read for any passionate reader or writer.\r\n\r\nProfessional actor and teacher will read a verse from Macbeth, and show you this master piece of literature and stage play.
